I've seen the Japanese version of this film (with English subs) and I loved it! It quickly made its way into the group of my favourite Studio Ghibli Movies.

In saying that, I really do want to see what the English version turns up like. I know a lot of people who don't like english dubbed versions of movies, but I'm not one of them. I find it fascinating to see the way they convert them, as often characters are different depending on the language they are dubbed in.

Miyazaki has once again made this Ghibli fan a happy happy fan with this movie. ^_^

Ponyo on the Cliff was alright. The art seemed very classic, a hark back to the '70s styled Miyazaki. It was okay. Nothing fantastic really.
