WATCHMEN DIRECTORS CUT Will Hit Theaters Next Month

I remember the days when everyday we were reporting more and more ‘Watchmen’ movie news. Since the movie came out we really haven’t had much to say about it until today. We heard rumblings before and after ‘Watchmen’ hit theaters that we might get a chance to see the full on director cut of the film in theaters. Zack Snyder has come out and confirmed that yes ‘Watchmen Director’s Cut’ will hit theaters next month!
Snyder said that the directors cut would be shown in theaters the weekend before Comic-Con in Los Angeles, Dallas, Minneapolis, and New York. It will only show up for one weekend and in one theater. Warner Bros. has made a new Watchmen Poster to promote the movie which I assume will be released soon.
The ‘Watchmen Directors Cut’ Blu Ray and DVD is set to hit the street July 21st, 2009. I will be picking myself up a copy. I actually really enjoyed the movie and I am looking forward to checking out the extra footage and special features.
