THE BOX Full Movie trailer From the Director of Donnie Darko

This movie looks intense! This film comes from director Richard Kelly who is the director of ‘Donnie Darko’ and the underrated film ‘Southland Tales’. ‘The Box’ has a great cast which includes James Marsden, Frank Langella, and Cameron Diaz. The movie looks much darker and more complex than I thought it would be which is a good thing. The trailer has my attention and i am looking forward to checking out the film which comes out October 30th.
Here is a little story summary for the film.
Norma and Arthur Lewis are a suburban couple with a young child who receive an anonymous gift bearing fatal and irrevocable consequences. A simple wooden box, it promises to deliver its owner $1 million with the press of a button. However, pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world…someone they don’t know. With just 24 hours to have the box in their possession, Norma and Arthur find themselves in the crosshairs of a startling moral dilemma and face the true nature of their humanity.
Now check out the trailer for ‘The Box’ below and tell us what you think about it.

Just something I noticed – Isn't the music the same as the Saw movies? That is kind of a turn off for me but the trailer does look great.
This looks like a Twilight Zone episode…"Button, Button"
wiki it. or check cityoffilms(dot)com
Really? I mean, REALLY? People are getting excited about this? You know it's just going to be one which looks semi-interesting and totally sucks. Doesn't appeal to me to be honest and I'm usually drawn in by flashy trailers.
im interested, yet i agree that this will most likely dissapoint
That reminded me of exactly the same thing: the "new" Twilight Zone series and the episode where the female protagonist is fretting over whether or not to push the box's button. Evenutally she does, and receives…was it money? I forget. Afterwards, the box is retrived from her as it is to be given to someone else, and she's told that someone will push the button and someone else (i.e., most likely her) will die. Doo, doo, doo, doo…doo, doo, doo, doo…
And…yeah…what's up with the Saw music at the end?
Southland Tales was underrated? I think not, it was horrendous. It tried to be something like Donnie Darko and failed miserably. Kelly is not that great of a director to be honest.
I liked Southland Tales, I can't wait for this!
And yea, we all caught the SAW music but yea, it's creepy and frankly most music in trailers isn't original.
It is based on the same story as the twilight zone.
