I think this could be a good film. Reynolds is a great serious actor and also priceless in comedies. I agree The Nines was a surprisingly good film as well so id definately go out to see this.

The Dutch/Belgian of the Vanishing of course didn't have a happy ending, unlike the American/Kiefer Sutherland version. BTW visit wereviking.wordpress.com for all your indie superhero goodness.

Was just going to say this myself. Infact I think he was great in The Nines much better than his big budget stuff, although his character in Blade III was about the only enjoyable part.

I always see people buried alive in movies or comics and they always seem to get out. To me it seems that it will result in a 99% chance of death I don't hate Ryan Renolds or anything, but I think seeing someone die in that situation would actually be a refreshing sight on the big screen, as horrible as it sounds…

Well, he already has worked in Indies before; he was in John August's The Nines, and was wonderful in it as he always is. He's a great actor/comedic actor who earns his keep.
