Don’t Download HARRY POTTER 6 Online for Free and Here’s Why

harrypotter6_poster_m

I came across some news today that all you movie watchers, Harry Potter fans, and computer users might be interested in reading. Especially those of you who for one reason or another download movies on the internet and watch them for free on you computer.

It looks like there will be some heavy consequences if you get the itch to download a free copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’. Here is what is being reported:

In a e-mail release by Ireland-based PC Tools, an anti-virus software company company, they stated that cybercriminals using the black arts are targeting peer-to-peer (P2P) search engines that share illegal downloads of the movies in advance of its screening.

The text description will be “Watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Online for Free.” Isn’t that exciting! The only problem is, it redirects the downloader to a web site, which will prompt to install an additional “streamviewer.” The streamviewer, however, is a malware software.

Malware software is an evil demon designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner’s informed consent.

So if I were you I would be patient and wait to watch ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ on the big screen or in IMAX on July 15 this summer. These movies are meant to be seen on the big screen anyway you will get the full effect and experience.

Amateurs…whoever is stupid enough to fall for such a simple trick deserves to have malware on their computer. Use a torrant, anyway. This is nothing new, and it's easy to find something that *isn't* a virus or malware, if you're careful enough. Harry Potter is shit, but I'm just going to download this movie to be an asshole.

This has happened for ages with a variety of movies. Anyone stupid enough to install an app like that, deserves to suffer just as much as those who go see this.

Nobody who actually knows what they are doing would install that software. Plus their wont only be one copy online their will be multiple copies from different uploaders.

my daughter who has aspergers did this last year , she was 10 and heartbroken over the release date being pushed back to july, we did not "deserve" to have this problem on our computer and whoever did this needs to understand the financial and emotional implications this could have on the children that are often affected by things like this
