This is one of my favorite movies of ALL-TIME! Why the hell do they need to remake this? Blasphomy I tell you! The original won an Oscar for makeup with all of the new techniques they developed for the makeup trade. I mean, damn, this movie is exactly what inspired Michael Jackson to ask John Landis to do the Thriller music video.

SHAME on you Hollywood!

it's going to be hillarious watching them use cgi in place of what baker was able to do back then. like the werewolf in paris flick, it'll look hideous.

I woke this morning, the taste of last night's exotica still on my lips, and gently teased back the flaps of my tent. The sun, magnificent in its splendor, tinged the husky corners of the desert with stawberry flecks, in the distance a lone hawk circled slowly. A piece of yellowing parchment lay in the dust at my feet, signs of a scuffle suggested it was not an intentional placing. On it, in a crude, spidery hand, were the words, "American Werewolf in London is getting remade."
I crumpled the scrap in my hand as I gazed to the horizon – a solitary word whispering from my slackened jaw. "Bugger."

I really feel sorry the kids growing up now wholove movies. No creativity, emphasis on effects over story line and overall BS coming out of Holloy wood. I remember when I was a Kid..Halloween, Predator, Alien, Star Wars, Nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th, and etc were all phenom fils that were original and spawned this current love of movies i have.
Nowadays…what is out there…are there any movies today being made that have that potential in 20 years for a remake? (Thank goodness for Pixar Disney for keeping originality alive)

*PS…This movie shouldn't be remade

I want to say I don't want to watch this, being such a fan of the original; the transformation was absolutely amazing. But who knows, maybe with the right director…
