Here’s a featurette that they’ve released for the upcoming Astro Boy animated movie. This clip focuses on Astro Boy as an icon. They say he’s as “iconic as Mickey Mouse”. But the last I checked, everyone was wearing mouse ears at Disneyland, and not Astro hair. Although if you go to a rockabilly show, you might say otherwise.

The movie stars Freddie Highmore as Astro. With Kristen Bell, Nic Cage, Eugene Levy, and Donald Sutherland lending their voices as well. If you can get through the oddly placed Linkin Park music in the beginning of this youtube-esque montage, it’s actually quite interesting.
