First Look of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash in IRON MAN 2

Hey! Check this out! It’s your first look at Mickey Rourke as the villain Whiplash from ‘Iron Man 2′. Looks like he is just out of the Russian prison. He still has the orange prison pants on and he is obviously wearing a home made type of Exo suit. He has got the same type chest piece Power adapter than Stark has on his suit. Why is that? Favreau says:
“The technologies are definitely related. That’s part of the core theme of the film.”
Rourke’s villain’s name is Ivan Vanko and he has contructed his own suit which has a pair of whips that are powered by the suits chest piece. Hense the name of the villain Whiplash. You can see in the photo that he is holding on to the handles of those whips. I’d like to see the whips in action. They will light up. Rourke looks great as this character!

I like it. I think it contrasts nicely with Iron Man's suit which is all flashy and stylish.
I like the way it looks. Very down to earth looking, very practical. Rourke looks like he's going to be brutal in this movie. He looks psychotic. Can't wait.

I think Mickey looks great here. Whiplash appears to have a tough, pushed-to-the-limit edge that will make him more compelling as a character.
honestly i cant see him in this outfit being a threat to anyone other than the ninja turtles. Iron man would hit him with a small rocket and walk away. i sure hope they impress me with a clip later on
I'm almost 100% positive this scene was shot over at Downey Studios, you could see parts of the set while you drive by
