meh Transformers2 was like a glorified military commercial! not enough robots! and too little of the GOOD robots in it. SOUNDWAVE didnt even flippin fight!!!!!!

Yes, we do read them. And I agree. the movie sucked.
I think people may have been expecting too much from the movie. People keep sayign how the 1st was so good and better than the first…..News Flash..the first was alright butnot enough action. I purposly have waited to see it after I havent watched any trailers for a while and all I want to see is action and robots..who cares if the good guys get less air time or if soundwave doesnt fight..BIG DEAL. Was there action, crap blowing up and a minimal storyline….thats good enough for me.
All these naysayers are acting like this movie is some drama piece……its a popcorn flick for goodness sakes..dont expect much. If you want somethign deep go see Changeling or Gran Torino. (excellent movies)
I loved it, and besides soundwave was ment as a information control. but people put to much expetations in these movies its just a movie what if movies stopped being made what would we do then? remember a little thing called the live theater

Crapfest? Meh it was better than Hangover, at least they didn't show ALL the good parts in the trailers

fanboys besides… the plot had so many holes that it might as well be called swiss cheese. I can find G1 cartoon episodes had a tigher story! Spielberg was attached to this movie – NO EXCUSE for this level of crap… what exactly did he do?
Bottom line – TF2 was geared for prepubescent boys (sexual references, ball and dick jokes, and lots of explosions). Fanboys actually expected more.

Great podcast as usual – I liked the movie though. I usually agree with a lot of what you guys say but you were way too hard on this movie. Sure it was crazy and over the top and there really wasn't a good story, but it was action packed and a lot of fun. I with you and would like to have seen something much better, but it is what it is – the most explosive summer popcorn blockbuster movie ever made.
