Madeline Zima rooms with HEROES Cheerleader

Since you cant be a high school cheerleader for life, Claire Bennett is off to college to be a college cheerleader maybe? Well I haven’t heard anything about that but THR.com has reported that ‘Californication’ star Madeline Zima will join the ‘Heroes’ cast in a recurring role as Claire Bennett’s roommate.

In a multi-episode arc she will play Gretchen, an edgy outsider and college roommate to Claire (Hayden Panettiere).
Since all of the characters on Heroes seem to be interconnected (done almost as cool as ‘Lost’), I wonder what crazy story arc she will be a part of. Maybe she will be a love interest for Lyle or Ando or dare I say….. Claire. It is college after all.
No word yet if she will have any powers or abilities. But, its Heroes. Everyone on there seems to get powers at some point.
What kind of power do you think they should give Madeline? What have they not done yet that you would like to see?
season 2 was a bust but 3 brought back hope for it.
heroes blew its wad their first year in. want to make it better? make it grittier and kill off some all stars.
Season 1 was the best and I liked the "Fugitives" story line in season 3 but the "Villains" story arc didn't quite deliver. And season 2 sucked.
I'm sorry but the first thing I thought when I read this was 'OMG It's another gritty Faith on preppy blonde cheerleader Buffy's terf'…f!ck. i don't think i believed heroes had f!cked itself into repeating over done soap opera ideas (the three triplets? the whole, am i petrelli? am i not? am i evil? wtf? sylar stuff ETC.) too much until this point *sigh* oh well…
