The Movies That We Love!

Like all of you, I like to surround myself with people who love films.  In doing so I find that one discussion always comes up.  What are your irresistible films?  What are the movies that no matter where they are, you have to watch them?  There have been many of these discussions between Dr. Venkman, Mazer, Abe Froman and myself.

During these conversations we have come to the common consensus that The Shawshank Redemption is one of those movies.  Other movies on our list are Ghostbusters, The Shining, The Usual Suspects and as far as Mazer goes anything with robots in it makes it onto the list.  As most of you have figured out, our list could go on and on.  But what I want to know is what is your irresistible movie?  Now there are some rules to this game so pay attention.

There aren’t many rules but they are important.  The movies we are talking about are the ones that no matter where you are ( at home, at someone else’s home, Best Buy), no matter how far into the movie you are (just starting or three minutes left), you have to stop whatever you are doing and watch.  For movie geeks like us, this might be a long list, and that is OK, we just want to know what your favorites are.  No matter how lame or ridiculous you might think they are.  So, until next time.

Wow, you guys are probably stuck anywhere you go watching movies with a list that big. lol.
I felt the point was to tell the movies you literally can't help yourself – you have to watch it!

    Putting it like this:
    - Magnolia
    - Back to the Future I
    - Empire Strikes Back
    - Young Frankenstein
    - Old School

These are the movies I'd absolutely stop anywhere to watch. I mean, I LOVE The Godfather movies for example, but I wouldnt stand in a Best Buy for 3 hours to watch it.

But to each its own! Thats just me :)

Nobody ever agrees with me but let's go for it anyway.

The Fountain – even though everytime I watch it, I'm reduced to a sobbing wreck.
The Nines – I got it, I'm so proud of myself.
X-Men 2 – I like the first one but I loved the second, am I allowed to admit that?

There are so many others but I can't think off the top of my head.

In fact I know just checked my movie channels to see if any of them were on despite the fact it's 2.30AM.
