We have the new trailer for the horror thriller remake of ‘The Stepfather’. Stepdads have a hard enough time being stepdads without a movie coming out that will paint them in an even worse light. The movie looks like exactly what it is supposed to be.

It stars Dylan Walsh from Nip Tuck, Sela Ward, Amber Heard and a few other people that look like they belong on the show 90210.

Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother (Sela Ward) happily in love and living with her new boyfriend, David (Dylan Walsh). As the two men get to know each other, Michael becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand. Is he really the man of her dreams or could David be hiding a dark side?

    Meh – another insipid remake of a great classic. Even when the lines are repeated word for word they have none of the intensity of Terry O'Quinn's portrayal. And it's PG13.
    Ho hum.
