Here is an absolutely breathtaking video by Tobias Richter. This was the opening for the 2009 FedCon Science Fiction Convention. The video depicts a “what if?” scenario in which the USS Kelvin is being attacked by enemy ships. But here is where the rules and timeline are bent, the USS Enterprise comes to the rescue! But as we saw in the most recent movie, Star Trek doesn’t really have to follow these rules. It’s awesome to see these two iconic ships team up. And the graphics are amazing. Not bad, well done graphically. I was wondering, though, why the Kelvin & Enterprise didn't use their own phasers… But that's the nitpicky sci-fi geek in me talking.
Why do you have to come in here and Geek it up??? Oh, wait… that's EXACTLY what we want you to do. Carry on. Yeah, that's not something I'd ever notice. Good job.
That was pretty cool…
Nice. Though the torpedo sounds reminded me of He-man and other 80's cartoons.
He-Man? Really? Maybe, but anyway that was totally cool!!!
