Vassup! 3 new BRUNO tv spots

Sacha Baron Cohen, how far will you go? That’s the question on a lot of people’s minds. I’m not sure of the answer, but let’s count our lucky stars that he’s going to take us along for the ride.

Here are 3 new TV Spots for Cohen’s latest movie “Brüno”, which is about a flamboyant Austrian Fashionista TV Reporter. Bruno is the the last of his three characters on “Da Ali G Show” to get a movie. And in my opinion, Brüno is by far the funniest and most interesting character that Cohen portrays. If you thought he went too far in 2006’s “Borat”, then I’m sure you will find “Brüno” to be twice as offensive. Hilariously or otherwise.

I know most people will write this movie off as pure shock value. Don’t get me wrong, it’ll have that, TONS OF THAT. But the way in which Cohen gets these REAL PEOPLE to do and say the most outrageous things, is nothing short of amazing. There are so many layers to his comedy. That is what separates Cohen from the “Jackass” and Tom Green’s out there.

So check the TV Spots out below! They all have almost completely different footage form each other.

But more importantly, let’s hear what you think? Does he go too far? Not far enough? Pure shock or Pure Genius??? Let’s discuss.

SBC is a freakin' genius in my book – the most refreshing thing to happen to cinema in a loooong time.

Exactly! There are some bits that he did on Da Ali G Show as Bruno, where he got people to COMPLETELY contradict themselves within a matter of seconds! It's amazing how willing people are to comply with outrageous behavior when there's a camera on.

Have you seen any episodes of "Da Ali G Show"? That's where I really grew to love Cohen. You get to really see how well he crafted these characters. And when you see how fully he commits to those characters, you might be able to appreciate them more. His ability to transform is amazing.

I agree. I can't think of anyone else out there with the "balls" to do what he's doing. And I have no idea how he stays in character and keeps a straight face through all this. There's no yelling "Cut!" when you're dealing with real people. If he did crack up, the jig would be up!
