WOLVERINE defeats SPIDER-MAN for best Marvel Cover

Spider-Man got barraged by Wolverine when Marvel Comics asked fans to vote for their favorite Marvel Comic-Book Cover of all time. Wolverine came out on top with 1988’s The Incredible Hulk Issue #340, in which The Hulk is only visible in the reflection of Wolverine’s claws.

The iconic cover was cleverly recreated in this scene from the Marvel Animated movie Hulk Vs Wolverine. If you haven’t seen it, go buy it on DVD and it’ll wash out the bad taste left in your mouth from X-Men Origins:Wolverine. That’s a guarantee from me to you!

1962’s Amazing Fantasy #15, in which Spiderp-Man was first introduced came in second.

But Spidey comes out on top in another way. Out of the 70 covers chosen, Spider-Man appeared in 19 of them! Captain America was featured on 16. While Wolverine appeared on a slightly less impressive 12. So what’s your favorite Marvel Comic Book Cover???

Piss I had that in the whole run of McFarlane / David run of Hulk but sold it all when he was the next best gods-cock. Oh well.
