    It's nice to see they didn't change Freddy too much, the glove design looks a little different, but it really begs the question. Why remake this movie? The original is a horror classic and Freddy is iconic. I still see no need to remake this. I could work some Photoshop magic on an old picture of Robert Englund as Freddy and slap "2010" on there and it would be the same thing. The only real motivation I can see for this movie is money… not artistic interpretation, a love of horror movies, a desire to create an original story.

    I'm just glad that back in 1984 Wes Craven didn't think it a good idea to re-make Frankenstein or something and actually came up with an original terrifying idea and character. Those are

    Yeah…I don't really understand why the movie needs to be remade but nevertheless its jackie earl haley so i will check it out. And if it turns out to suck, then i'll just go home and watch the original over and over again to get the previos images out of my head :P
