Well, here’s a no brainer that is finally coming to fruition. Actor Bill Nighy has announced that he will be in the final installments of the Harry Potter Franchise. Bill told a reporter from the UK’s Independent :
I don’t think I’m allowed to say it but I’m going to be in the next Harry Potter film.
You’re probably not supposed to say it. But thank you for confiding in a reporter. They can keep a secret.
I won’t say which character, but he’s a goodie. I just got the gig.
A ‘goodie’ as in he’s a good guy? Or a ‘goodie’ as in he’s so evil, he’s a great character to play? Bill? Bill? Well either way, it’s about time. Bill is one of the best actors on screen today. He’s held down the Underworld franchise, and he shined through the computer graphics of his Davy Jones character in the last two Pirates of The Caribbean films. And he even knows how to generate laughs, in films like Hot Fuzz and Love Actually.
This is something that Bill has wanted to be apart of for a long time. He’s joked for years that he’s ‘the only British actor who hasn’t been in Harry Potter’. Well, cross it off the list my friend. So, an obvious question is, has Bill read the books?
Not yet, but I will! It’s rather like being in a Shakespeare that way, you know?
I don’t, I have no idea what you’re talking about. But continue… Oh, you’re done! You can catch Bill in the new kids movie G-Force, and hear him lend his voice to the upcoming animated feature Astro Boy.

I'm gonna say either Xenophilius Lovegood, Luna's father or one of the Peverell brothers. But I'm leaning heavily on Luna's father. That would be awesome!
I'm thinking he'll be Dumbledore's brother, Aberforth. That would be perfect!
I agree, I'm pretty sure that he will play Xeno Lovegood, which will be amazing.
Xenophilius Lovegood might be a good role, but Gellert Grindelwald would be better!
He's probably going to be Xenophilius (or one of the Peverell brothers), cause Aberforth is already cast… so is Grindelwald.

Any other ideas? A Peverell brother seems to be popular. I hope they didn't hire him on to play "Person #1 Standing on Street Corner" or some lame cameo like that.
The new rumor is that Nighy will play Rufus Scrimgeour, an Auror with the Ministry of Magic.

Another possibility, however likely because I would've guessed Scrimgeour as well, could be the new Minister of Magic . . . ( can't recall his name )
