Word is flying around the internet that Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus wants to be in the upcoming Batman movie. So much so, that she dressed up in some sort of makeshift costume in an audition for Warner Bros. MTV reported:
According to Hollyscoop.com, the star reportedly “stunned” Warner execs during her audition, even dressing for the part in a “full batsuit.”
A source said of Miley’s audition:
She was sort of hopping around the room and had even written some dialogue for herself. The problem is some people aren’t really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it of.
That’s an understatement. Some people? Try EVERYONE!!! Name one person over the age of 12 or who’s pockets aren’t being lined with cash, who thinks that girl can act. And I love that she wrote her own lines! I imagine they went something like this…
“Oh hno Batmyan! It totalleee lyooks like the Riddler is here ya’ll! I’m on a boat…!”
Let’s all keep in mind that this is a rumor, but let’s also keep in mind that Justin Timberlake was being seriously considered and even screen tested for The Green Lantern. He lost out to Ryan Reynolds(hallelujah!) but Justin was one of the three finalists, along with Bradley Cooper. I don’t know what these studios are looking for or what it is they think audiences will like. Take you pop stars and shove ‘em!
At least Justin Timberlake is undeniably talented! To me, Miley Cyrus sounds like a female Bobcat Goldthwait. She swallows her words faster than she can take a half-naked picture… inappropriate? Very. Apt, I dunno. The thought alone angers me. So I was bound to lash out.
Ok, let’s get real here. Batman Begins and Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan would never, never, not in a million years put her in one of his masterpieces. But, would Warner Bros?

She couldn't act to save her life. Thank god this is just a rumour. Even if it isn't, casting directors wouldn't be that stupid…errr, maybe not all. I've seen worst but, they wouldn't with BATMAN?!…would they? LOL!!!!
You never know. If the studio heads see her dance around in a money suit, the balance could weigh in her favor. Greed!

This has the 4th batman movie written all over it, that film almost killed the franchise. I would hope the DC Comics would have more pride in their product than to cast that Disney hack as Batgirl.
I feel that this will be like the Cher as Catwoman rumor. I think the only reason this has surfaced is because of what Gary Oldman said during Con, that they start shooting NEXT YEAR. I bet they don't even have a finished script, they just let Gary know because you know he has to be in it.

I'm not a big fan either, but he is incredibly good in one, and only one so far if not just ever, movie and that is Southland Tales but then again Richard Kelly can get a pretty damn good performance out of any one so *Shrug*

Sean Young did the same thing for Catwoman as well. I think this is just a publicity stunt. Christopher Nolan wouldn't destroy the series by adding a "teenie star" in his masterpeice. Why doesn't Miley just ask Disney if they can cast her in some new original show about super heroes. I know lets call it, Heroes of Waverly CRAP!!!

You know if she was cast I'd doubt she would sing around and dance. Nolan would work her ass off untill she could bring out the tensity and seriousness of batgirl that he wants. And I think Robin needs to be in the movie before batgirl, if anyone of them is even gonna be in it. What if both of them were in it??
if this piece of shit ever happens, you're better off having heath ledger's role of the joker replaced by sarah palin while batman takes a dump on a live action bugs bunny character in the next movie
