New Images of Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan In PRINCE OF PERSIA

Hey Gang! Here’s a new image of Jake Gyllenhaal trying to look all, Prince Dastan, in Disney’s new Prince of Persia: Sands of Time flick. I’m still not sold on him playing this role, I think he’s a great actor, but Prince Dastan? Get outta here. Here is what he told EW in and interview regarding all of the stunt sequences he was involved with.
“I’m tired of taking myself so seriously, it’s nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, ‘Actors don’t normally do this.’”
Climbing walls, trees, jumping off cliffs, buildings, fighting people, wielding swords, dressing up in ancient clothing, and armor… this just stuff I do on a daily basis. So now Gyllenhaal is so special because he does it in a movie, when there are people out there doing it for real every day? We need to put an end to this madness, where actors get all the credit for badassery, when in fact there are more badassier people out in the world. I’m allowed to make words up by the way.
Mike Newell is directing and Jerry Bruckhiemer is Producing. If anything, I’m sure the movie will be fun to watch.

From Donnie Darko and Bubbleboy to Persian Prince fighting with swords and acrobatics, I'm at a loss for words.
This has FAIL written all over it…
But people from that region, around Iran are still referred to as Persian.

everyone is so negative about this, maby if peoples attitudes where more positive… and so maby Jake isnt Persian but he has black hair and blue eyes just like the prince in the Game, remember it is BASED ON THE GAME NOT REAL LIFE, the guy in the game has an American accent damnit
