Stephen Sommers Breaks Down the G.I. JOE Paris Chase Scene
In this little video below G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra director, Stephen Sommers, talks about the crazy Paris street chase scene that we have seen over and over again in the trailers. He also gives us a little insight on those ridiculous looking Accelerator Suits and how he has wanted to bring them to life the last 10 years. I wish he wouldn’t have used them in this G.I. Joe movie though. Then he explains the whole Eiffel Tower sequence. So pretty much, after watching this video, I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t like Stephen Sommers even more. Check it out below and please share your thoughts.

This is going to be one of the worst movies of all time. Even knowing that I have a strange desire to see it.
what a douche…..i am really tired of the phrase "my bad" with the "oops factor"…. of course its your bad you dumb fukr. i would have expected gi joe to be fun, with a slight serious edge to create whatever believability that could be mustered with such a film. not some slapstick garbage. fuk all the wayans brothers and their tired 90's retread garbage. and that goes for you eddie murphy and all your repeatedly 80's high jinx movies. studio executives are douche fukrs and they all need to be out on the street.
Have you people ever watched the original cartoon or read the old comic? its make belive, Grow up and get a life, its for fun thats all, its a comic movie, super hige tec weapons, futureristic jet fighters, i mean its a movie who cares,
Oh…My….God.Who is this Schmuck again? Okay….It says on his Wiki that he did the Disney Huck Finn thing and some Mummy crap. I didn't know what all the hubub was about.Thought you guys were bein' a liitle harsh on the guy. But as soon as he "explained" that the Eiffel Tower was one of the most recognizable structures in the world?Dude,I shut it off…Yep,didn't watch…I think HE thinks he's the most recognizable structure in the world.Next to the Great Wall,I'm sure you could at least see his EGO from outer space. What are we…2?Thanks Stevie, you're a gem. The movie looks like a wash. Stupid bro! I KNOW it was a cartoon, but why waste time when I could make shit in my garage that would entertain people more than this.Sorry…I'm okay, but I'm also from Minnesota originally, too(in his Wiki).Unnerving a brother would do my state like that.
If you don't care, why are you responding so energetically?
I love great film, I love my childhood cartoons, why can't I get a glimmer at the two combined? I didn't grow up reading LOTR or playing with Iron Man, I'm jealous of the kids that did. They get a chance to enjoy it, me, I'm stuck with "How do you go to the bathroom in this?"
