Just thought you might want to know that the sequel to the hit film Wanted is actually going to start shooting in 8 weeks! Mark Millar says that the script is finished and ready to go.
Timur Bekmambetov will return to direct the sequel and actor James McAvoy will reprise his role as Wesley Gibson. The sequel will revolve around the international group of assassins from issues 4 and 5 from Millar’s graphic novel.
I loved the first Wanted movie, it was just a lot of fun to watch. What do you think of a sequel?

I'm with you as well, I loved the first movie a lot. So hopefully the second one will kick even more ass!
f*ck. yes.
I Wasn't that impressed with the first movie, James McAvoy acting was bad the only reason people went to go see was because on Angelina Jolie
I loved Wanted so can't wait to see what the future holds for Wesley (I have not read the graphic novel)
It would be even better if they actually followed the comic. So far Wanted has gotten the "rise of cobra" treatment and for me is like watching a lord of the rings movie with dudes in power armor jumping over orks while making kung fu noises. if you don't know what I am talking about, read the trade paperback….its too band because the source material is excellent if massively twisted. Not many V for Vebdetta quality scripts around thoug…oh well.
Sometimes they don't want to follow the comics due to people being idiots. I think they did a good job with it but could have named it something else really besides wanted going off the comics.
Exactly. They really should have just named it something else because c'mon- there are just so many differences that it's really not even the same thing at all.
The movie wasn't horrible but it certainly wasn't groundbreaking which is exactly what the comic was for me.
