Wow! hear I am trying to pack for Comic-Con, and I just happen to check my e-mail and find that Sam Raimi is going to be directing World of War Craft. It never crossed my mind that Sam Raimi would be the guy to bring the ultra popular geek MMO to life on the big screen, and here it is, and I couldn’t be happier. AICN got the exclusive news that this was going down moments ago. This news will hit the trades later this week.
Sam Raimi is a great choice! This guy is going to make one hell of an awesome World of Warcraft film, I don’t care what anyone says! After seeing Drag Me To Hell, he proves that he still has what it takes to make a freakin great film. This is going to have one hell of a big ass budget, and it is going to be epically incredible.
What do you think about is awesome news.
Hopefully the WOW Freak-Out Kid will make an appearance.

Well, after Spider-Man 3 I know he can direct a dance sequence…so he should be able to implement all the in-game dances into a movie sequence. Much like Spider-Man 3 though I am sure it will be out of place and awkward when it happens.

World of Warcraft doesn't need a movie. Blizzard makes enough money as it is.
