Will Smith is teaming up once again with “I Am Legend” director, Francis Lawrence, for a new film called City That Sailed. And the story for this film seems pretty incredible. I totally love the concept for this story.

The movie is about a father and daughter living on opposite sides of the ocean whose love is so strong that it causes Manhattan to split off and float across the Atlantic.

I just can’t imagine what this story will be like, how it will all happen, the reaction of the characters, and how exactly this story will be told. It will be visually stunning I am sure. Lawrence will obviously direct, Smith will produce, and potentially star in the new film, being developed over at 20th Century Fox. The original script for the film by Andrew Niccol, will be rewritten by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who also wrote Oceans Thirteen.

Now that’s what I call a love story. I wonder if the theme song will be That’s The Power of Love, from Huey Lewis & the News.
