AVATAR Video Game Trailer
Its AVATAR DAY worldwide and a lot of information, footage and images have been released as well as the chance many people will have to see 15 minutes of footage in IMAX 3D capable theaters all over the place today. Here we also have the trailer for the video game that will be released simultaneously with the film’s release. James Cameron teamed up with Ubisoft to develop the game in tandem with the movie that are both due out this December. The game is not supposed to be a typical “movie video game”. The story in the game will follow a different arc then what will be shown in the feature film. It will be its own story set in the same universe but with different characters and its own unique direction.
Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
I am not that impressed with the graphics, effects and game-play in this trailer. Maybe that is because I have seen footage from the film and that stuff is phenomenal! Very little is revealed about what kind of game this is but from the trailer I would guess it to be something similar to Shadow Of Colossus which was a great game. I really hope the game will be great. I am very excited for the movie and I have been very impressed with everything I have seen so far. But, you will be able to play this game in 3-D.

I downloaded this in 720p HD of the Playstation Network and believe me if you think it looks bad on a computer screen you should see it on a 42in Plasma, Horrible graphics, slowdown, jaggies, rubbish textures the list goes on, it looks like an average PS2 game
How did you get Shadow of the Colossus from that? Looks like a typical action-shooter. And you'll probably be able to switch to play as a Na'avi. Looks meh.
I dont know. some of it just reminded me of shadow of collossus. Like where they are flying on "creatures" and the sandbox feel reminded me of SOC. but I agree that it looks a bit meh. and like a typical action game. hopefully a better trailer comes out
im getting a gears of war vibe, but definitely not as dark
so she's her own worst enemy's alter ego's enemy? O.o I'm confused and not quite interested to find out the point.
oops, wrong vid.
Not impressed and I'm surprised that it doesn't look super kick ass based on what Cameron said about the game at E3. Plus, Ubisoft is a great developer that can make excellent games. I hope this is just an early cut and the game looks much better than this.
