Coen Brothers Short Film WORLD CINEMA Starring Josh Brolin

A great little short film directed by The Coen Brothers has popped up online recently. The movie is called World Cinema, and it stars Josh Brolin as a rancher who wanders into a little indie movie theater showing two foreign films, Renoir’s The Rules of the Game and Nuri Bilge Ceylon’s 2006 film Climates. He can’t decide which one of these films to watch, and ticket salesman discusses his movie going options with him. Dan finally makes his choice and emerges from the theater.

The short was made for the 2007 Cannes Film Festival to be part of a collection of short films by other directors. This collection of shorts was called, To Each His Own.  Hope you enjoy the short film below!
