I’ve been waiting for HBO’s new show Bored To Death from creator Jonathan Ames, since they announced it way back in September of last year.

The show stars Jason Schwartzman(Funny People) as Jonathan, an alcoholic Brooklyn writer, who after a painful breakup with his girlfriend, decides to emulate characters from his favorite Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett novels and begins pretending to be a private detective. Jonathan sets out to solve the cases he takes on, but often times makes things worse. The show also stars Ted Danson(Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Zach Galifianakis as a comic book writer, and Jonathan’s buddy. The trailer also features, Parker Posey(A Mighty Wind) and Kristen Wiig(SNL).
