I’m not a big fan of the fact that this movie is being remade, there’s nothing that can be done to stop it. the film is being directed by Rod Lurie who is currently into rehersals on his vsion of Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs. As much as I don’t like the the idea of the movie being remade, it sure has a decent cast.

James Woods and Dominic Purcell (Prison Break) has joined the already cast, James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgard, and Walton Goggins from The Shield.

If this new movie is better than the original I’ll admit it, but the original is so creepy, dark and disturbing, I just don’t see how it can be done. What do you think?
