MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4 is about to get more Impossibler

Believe it or not Tom Cruise is back in business with Paramount Pictures, after they pretty much forced him off the studio lot after Mission Impossible 3. J.J. Abrams is also officially on board as a producer on the film for now, not sure if he will be directing again or not. He is probably the only reason Paramount is up for working with Cruise again, without his I doubt this would have ever happened. They have brought in Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec to write the screenplay for the fourth installment of Mission Impossible. This will be there first time writing for a feature film, they have worked on TV shows such as Life on Mars, October Road, Alias, and Fastlane. hey have obviously worked with Abrams before, which is how they got the gig. They will write the script based on a story that Abrams wrote with them, so it looks like Abrams has got something cool up his sleeve. Abrams says of the writers:
“I’ve been looking forward to working with Josh and Andre again for years. Their sense of balance between character and action is wonderful, which I know is hugely important to Tom as well. We’re off to an exciting start, so, as usual, fingers crossed.”
They are looking to get the movie released sometime in 2011. I really enjoyed the third Mission Impossible film, and I hope they can bring the same kind of awesomness to the fourth one. I don’t have any probelems with another Mission Impossible film as long as it is good, and entertaining. But, the movie is movie forward and it is going to happen, so are you ready for Ethan Hunt to go on his most impossible mission yet?

I must have missed something. Other than MI3 being a crappy movie, what did Cruise do to piss off the studios? Not that it takes much of anything coming from that tool.
MI3 was pure and utter garbage.
MI3 was dope! I am a huge fan of the entire series. I hope they bring Abrams back and I hope they don't. By that I mean every MI movie has had a unique and different director so I kind of want them to stay on that trend but I also really like what Abrams did with MI3.
4th time's ALWAYS a charm, right?
Impossibler?
huh……
It's from a MTV skit that was done with Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller. It's a joke.
The team behind "Fastlane"? What could possibly go wrong?
No way, MI2 was pure and utter garbage, part one is the best of the three though.
God I remember that sketch. Hell, they should just include Stiller in with Cruise, because it'd be their third time together (I think). Tropic Thunder being the second.
I think if your old enough to remember the original TV show, the fist MI was simply the best. I loved the script, though I would have liked to see a little more of the team.
MI2 was watchable at a push, MI3 was the biggest load of utter garbage I've seen in years.
I didn't know there were so many MI3 haters! Doc, btw, that MTV skit of Stiller and Cruise is one of my favorite parodies of all time!
I don't really get why everyone hates the third one. Any valid reasons? The first one was definitely the best one, it felt like an actual spy movie.
crap – even though i have watched them all – i again was amazed at the utter bastardization of the first film – making jim the bad guy? go and get fuk'd! how about a REBOOOOOOT???
Jealous People should shut up and do better….
