RAMBO 5 Gets the Green Light

Rambo

I really enjoyed Rambo part 4, I felt it was a great end to the film series, when John Returns to the farm to find peace after brutally destroying so many people. Now I find that Nu Image/Millennium Films has greenlit the franchise’s fifth installment, with Sylvester Stallone starring and directing again. If your wondering where they plan on taking the character in this film here is what the trades say.

The upcoming project’s storyline revolves around Rambo fighting his way through human traffickers and drug lords to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border.

So it’s like the film Taken with Liam Neeson. Sure why not, I can see Rambo getting involved with something like this, but I still don’t think we need to see a fifth Rambo film. They hope to start production in spring. Stallone is currently in post-production on The Expendables, which I am looking forward to.

What are your thoughts on a Rambo Part 5?

Why can't they just drop the name Rambo and call it something else altogether yeah? It's all rubbish. Where have all the fresh ideas gone to. LOL! Hollywood Mantra: Copy, Copy, Copy, Copy! Did you guys copy that? LOL!

I could do without. I’ll give it a shot, not a likely theater viewing however.

They could make Rambo movies until Stallone dies of old age and I will STILL love them! This is GREAT news!!

I will be there. Rambo is a hard R action film….they just don't make em like that anymore.

I just watched the 4th installment last evening and thought it would've been nice to end it like it all started, but with him sacrificing himself for a greater good…camera fades…we see a baby with a knife and his signature lips! YO Adrian

I'll go see it then. I'll have to find that one unsuspecting sucker to pay for it which should not be a problem with all the Rambo die-hards out there. LOL!
