STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC Video Game Details

I don’t know if you saw the E3 trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, but it looked incredible! Although that is just a cinematic, it peaked my interest enough to follow what this game is going to become. BioWare wants to make this game different from any other MMO that is out there right now. The lead writer for the game Daniel Erickson met with G4tv.com at GamesCom 2009 to discuss the game’s combat, writing process, gameplay consequences, and more. He said:
We have this very long story arc that we can bring things back to. You may have completely forgotten that when you were at level eight, that you killed this guy you didn’t need to kill. His family hasn’t forgotten it and they’re going to find you 20 hours later and hunt you down, and you’re going to have to deal with the ramifications. One of the really fun things there is that you may be a completely different person at that point. You might have decided to give up your crazy ways from when you were a kid. And now at level 40, you’re a pretty good and these guys come to you. You have to decide, ‘Okay, am I going to cover that up? How am I going to handle it?’ These are the things that really make the galaxy feel alive.
This game sounds like it’s going to be incredible. I never really have gotten into playing MMO games, but I may end up trying this one.

wish it was for 360, my computer has reached the point that its out dated unfortunately
How is this not on the 360, really? Come on Bioware 360 is a windows based machine how hard can it be to translate it?
The reason they avoid doing mmos on the console is because of the updating process. Updating a pc game is easy compared to a console update. PC they put the update out for download and install and its done. 360 the update has to be issued to microsoft first and they have to approve it, then it has to be integrated to work properly with xbox live. Its ridiculous, but that is the truth. Read the latest game informer for more on this. Also, MS doesn't like to put things up for free. Game companies wishing to issue free content for xbox live end up having to pay to issue it. Xbox live is wonderful but greedy.
btw This game looks incredible. I wish they would find a way to bring it to the console. The days of pc gaming for me are over, costs too much to keep my pc upgraded when I can have a console that lasts years past my pc. These days my pc is only for flash gaming, net surfing, social networking, and p2p file sharing. Up yours (ARR)IAA.
