SyFy Renews Summer Hit ‘Warehouse 13′ For Second Season!

So the new hit Warehouse 13 isn’t even half way through it’s first season and SyFy has already green lit Season 2. This show is a combo of Indiana Jones meets The X Files with a small bit of bumbling comedy added to the mixture. Great characters and fantastic writing has really gotten this show noticed! Oh and SyFy is marketing the S**t out of the show too!

To be honest, I had a hard time getting in to this show but each episode and the character development has drawn me in. The show is averaging 4 million per episode, that’s not too shabby, even beating Battlestar Galactica numbers!

Synopsis: After saving the life of the President, two Secret Service agents find themselves abruptly transferred to Warehouse 13 — a massive, top secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse’s caretaker Artie (Rubinek) charges Pete (McClintock) and Myka (Kelly) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the warehouse itself.

Warehouse 13 airs Tuesday nights 8c/9e on SyFy

This is a good show. It doesn't have a real serious tone and I like that. Sure the gadgets and artifacts are over the top but who cares. Every week I'm laughing at something Pete (the dude agent) says and the situations both agents are getting into. He's really funny and adds a lot to the show and their chemistry is lighter and more fun than something like the X-Files. Also, Artie (Rubinek) is pretty good as the wacky scientist. I'm glad to hear it's been picked up for another season.
