THE WOLFMAN Movie Trailer

Not only do you get to see the awesome new Avatar Trailer today, but you also get your first look at the trailer for Joe Johnston’s Universal Picture, The Wolfman, which I think looks great! They did everything right in bringing this classic Wolfman monster back to the big screen. Benicio del Toror, Hugo Weaving, Anthony Hopkins, and Emily Blunt look great in their roles, and the Wolfman effects look awesome. I’m excited for this one.
Inspired by the classic Universal film that launched a legacy of horror, The Wolfman brings the myth of a cursed man back to its iconic origins. Benicio Del Toro stars as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother…and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.
Lawrence Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother’s fiancĂ©e, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate.
As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself… one he never imagined existed
Joe Johnston directs The Wolfman, and six-time Oscar®-winning special effects artist Rick Baker brings his design and makeup talents to transform Del Toro into the fearsome title character.

Doesn't look like anything special and the casting is ridiculous, Benicio Del Toro is meant to be Anthony Hopkins son??
Looks cool. I'd go see it. Bring tonnes of popcorn!
I think it looks great! This movie will be incredible.
I like Hopkins as his dad. Who would you rather suggest, the guy from the Dos Equis commercials? That might be kinda funny.
The effects look good, but as someone who's seen the original a few times over it doesn't look too much like it. It'll be hard to pull of the two-legged Wolfman without making it look outright silly.
i agree – his son???how about brother???
looks good and Benicio Del Toro is a great actor – but he is ooooooooooone fugly lookn dude. prob didnt need as much werewolf makeup to begin with. they should have had him playn basketball in this one.
Dads are cool. LOL! Even wolfie's. LOL!
For those of you whom do not think this film will be something special.. a suggestion.. Do better….Idiots
This looks special.
I'm very interested in seeing this film. CG work looks very well done.
Love it. Totally looks like it will honor the spirit of the original Lon Chaney Jr. film very well.
I agree. It looks like It has capture the feel of the old Universal Monster films
I feel like they're totally underusing Benecio. I'm sensing a watered down performance.
And Hopkins as his father does look weird.
I will see it but I am very disappointed that they went with a cg transformation. They were hyping the film on using original make-up effects but then they cheap-out with cg for the switch.
It works fine for me, I adore both actors. Also in the time period represented in the film, it wasn't odd to be married and parents by the age 16. When you have children at an early age, the children seem to catch up physically depending on the life led by each party. I like how the film is sticking close to the old original yet we will have modern use of affects. I can't wait to see it. Benicio has that perfect intensity that is required for the role.
Hopkins is 72 people…he could easily be De Toro's Father…these effects look about as good as the ones in Jumanji…oh wait Joe Johnston directed that as well. Sadly this will blow
Hopkins is 30 years older than del Toro. I dont get why people say he couldnt be his father or should be more his brother….
30 years people.
This looks totally F*****G AWESOME!
