Timur wants Angelina in WANTED 2

Its no secret that Wanted directed Timur Brekmabetov wants to bring Angelia Jolie back for the sequel of the comic book adapted film. But if you saw the first film you may think it would be a bit impossible. But Timur recently spoke with MTV about how he has figured out a way to bring Angelina back as the character of Fox. Just be warned that potential spoilers await in the interview.

If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head.
But there has to be a reason for her to come back… and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back.

Jolie hasn’t confirmed if she will be back for the film but Timur is confident that filming will start soon.

I think we will make the movie this winter.

I for one actually really liked the first film. It wasn’t quite what I expected but I liked it. Honestly I haven’t read the comics yet so I don’t know how accurate any of this is but I think there was a certain chemistry with Angelina Jolie’s character and James McAvoy’s character.

The screen adaptation is nothing like the comic. I think It would've been badass if it was exactly like the comic.

I enjoyed the movie as well! I read somewhere they were also considering making it a prequel.

the comic would never be made into a movie because the main character is despicable, and does some pretty heinous stuff, a general film audience would never be able to sit through a movie like that. Also the MPAA won't give it anything less than an NC-17 for being so faithful to the source material. Nevertheless, I think if they adapted he original comic it would have been way better than what it was, but no one in Hollywood would have the stones to do it.
