Chan-Wook Park’s THIRST Gets Its U.S. Release Date!

I’ve been waiting on this flick Thirst for a while and now it looks like we are finally going to get to see it! Chan-Wook Park (Oldboy) is bringing his South Korean vampire flick to the U.S. on November 17th and will be released by Universal Home Entertainment.

Synopsis: Beloved and devoted priest from a small town volunteers for a medical experiment which fails and turns him into a vampire. Physical and psychological changes lead to his affair with a wife of his childhood friend who is repressed and tired of her mundane life. The one-time priest falls deeper in despair and depravity. As things turns for worse, he struggles to maintain whats left of his humanity.

    hmmm… a small theater in Minneapolis (where I live) is supposed to be showing it on the 25th of September… Are you guys referring to a DVD release on the 17th of Nov?

    Yes,that's what the release date is….That's really not that rare actually,most movies hit one or a few theaters then get the DVD treatment,sometimes really quickly…
