George Romero’s SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD Film Clip

Here we have the first official film clip from George A. Romero’s next zombie film Survival of the Dead. The film is set to premier at the Midnight Madness portion of the Toronto Film Festival this month. So I guess we’ll find out soon enough how good or bad this film ends up being.
The plot involves inhabitants of an isolated island off the North American coast who find their relatives rising from the dead to eat their kin. The leaders of the island feud over whether or not to kill their reanimated relatives or preserve them in hopes of finding a cure.
From the clip shown below it looks like Romero has taken a comedy approach to the movie, but it’s only one short seen. I’m a big fan of zombie flicks, but as much as I would like to be excited for this new zombie film, I’m not. Check out the clip below and share your thoughts with us. What do you think of Romero’s recent zombie films?

The horrible temp audio track doesn't help matters.
Should have just stayed with the …of the Dead title too
I though Romero's Land of the Dead was quite good (nothing on Dawn, but you know) and Diary was OK. Nothing special but better than most other Zombie films. I am excited to see Island though.
I think it's difficult to judge based on such a short clip, but I have faith in George
Unlike the previous commentator I thought Diary was very good, while Land was just better than average.
diary of the dead had some of the absolute worst acting i've seen on film in recent years. the amish guy was the best, but didn't have nearly enough screen time. i worry romero is losing his touch…i hope this is better than diary.
Me too, I prefer Land of the Dead over the Diary. I'm not sure if it was because I've watched "Snider's running zombies" on Dawn of the Dead but I did not get scared at all with the ''slow motion zombies'' on Diary of the Dead. But then again, I also have faith in Romero…let's wait and see…
I am always excited when a new zombie film comes out… and its Romero.
