As you might know the new HALO 3: ODST game is coming out soon and Microsoft has released a new commercial for it, and damn does it look awesome! It also gives you a new vision of what a movie could possibly look like if it finally ever happens. The commercial was directed by Rupert Sanders who also directed a few other commercials such as the Halo 3 Believe , X Box: Joy and that Monster.com ad. He also directed this awesome X-Men: Origins Wolverine Video Game Commercial as well.
Rupert is currently developing feature projects with Warner Brothers and Working Title, which includ the remake of The Wild Geese and Warrior. He is also in talks to direct The Low Dweller, which is a “dark ex-con drama” that Leonardo DiCaprio and Ridley Scott are producing.
This guy has some talent, and I love what he has done with this commercial! It is just all around bad ass! Check it out below and tell us what you think!

Games are becoming movies. What will movies become?
The cg work, meh, but overall really cool to see this live action. Makes me wonder why this hasn't been made into a movie yet.
seems pretty cool – but they marketed the fuk outta halo 3 and it only turned out to be just halo 2.5. this new game better have increased capabilities and awesome online playability. oh well, i will prob get it like the last one play it and bitch about it some more later on down the road.

Well I liked it. Couldn't tell what was happening, all so wild/fast, but it looked good.
Maybe Neill Blomkamp will get to make the movie again. I hope so.
This would be the FOURTH time i've seen this and i still love it. But am i insane or is this one shorter than the one on Gametrailers by like, almost a whole minute?
I can not wait until they get off of their asses and make a live action Halo movie. Hell, if they let Rupert Sanders do it, i'd die happy.
