Josh Harnett Cast in GUNSLINGER, but not the Stephen King One

Most of us are all anxiously awaiting Stephen King’s Gunsliger movie to finally get made, so I didn’t want to get anybody’s hope’s up. That wont start happening until after the TV show LOST wraps up so the writers can put all their focus on it.
Josh Hartnett has signed on to star in another film called, Gunslinger, which is a revenge driven tale set in the near future in the snowey wastland of a post-apocalyptic America. Is it just me or does Everything gotta be post-apocalyptic these days Hartnett will play a man who, along with his brother, sets out to kill the gang who killed their parents. Chris Nahon is directing the film, he recently directed Blood: The Last Vampire. Producer Mark Williams says:
This story takes a unique and startling look at what might happen when the lawlessness of the Old West returns … but with better weapons.
Harnett is a decent actor and this sounds like one of those films he would do. It’s not like this kind of movie hasn’t been done before. The first film that popped in my head that reminded of this is Mad Max, only it takes place in a snowy wasteland. It should be interesting to see what comes of the project, but its nothing to get crazy excited about. What do you think?

holy crap the first 5 words of this post scared the shit out of me
this kinda made me think of a batman with his brother but a lot less lame. I love the post-apocalyptic genre…but if the gang that killed their parents is vampires…I am so sick of that bs. I mean, the only post-apocalyptic and then there are vampires tale that I can recall actually working is the original NOVEL form of I Am Legend. so here's hoping *crosses fingers* that it's just humans for once.
Director Chris Nahon…
Oh how I wished that read 'Nolan.' Only way I'd be interested.
