Let The Right One In Remake to Be Officially Titled… FISH HEAD????

Ok, this remake of Let The Right One In is getting way out of control, and the production should be stopped. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have two little bits of news to share with you today regarding the Matt Reeves directed remake. First, we reported on a rumor yesterday that Philip Seymour Hoffman might actually star in the film, that has been debunked by Bloody-Disgusting, he has not been cast in the film. The second update is that movie title has been officially changed to… FISH HEAD? What the hell? That makes no sense at all!

So the title went from Let the Right One In, to Let Me In, to Fish Head. The only explanation I can come up with is that the studio and filmmakers want to keep the title as far away from the original title as possible. Why you ask? Because I don’t think they want American audiences to associate it with a remake even though it is one. As fantastic as the original Let the Right One In was, there are very few people here in the states that have seen the movie. They can market this movie to a fresh new audience with a fresh new title, that is pretty damn silly.

Or this little title that leaked out will just be used for production purposes. It common that when a movie goes into production they do it under a different title, so people don’t know what they are really filming. It’s done to keep things on the down low.

Whatever the case may be the movie shouldn’t be remade in the first place.

    Fish Head? WTF? Are they smoking crack? What does a “fish head” have to do with the story?

    This remake is starting to smell like a huge steaming pile of crap!

    I'm forced to agree. It's a great title to warn potential viewers that they're in for a pile of smelly leftovers.
