LOST BOYS 3: THE THIRST Is Going into Production

We all knew this eventually was going to happen, even though Lost Boys 2 sucked beyond belief, but Warner Premiere is getting ready to get Lost Boys 3: The Thirst into production. The film will star both Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander who will reprise their roles as the Frog brothers. It doesn’t look like Corey Haim will make it into this film. He gave one of the worst performances of his life after the end credits in LB2. The movie will start shooting in Capetown, South Africa in November. As for the story details, Production Weekly reveals:
When veteran vampire hunter Edgar Frog finds himself destitute and almost friendless, when [sic] a wealthy vampire-romance novelist offers him a small fortune to go on the vampire hunt of a lifetime and rescue her son.
A vampire romance novelist? Is this movie going to have some fun at the expense of Twilight? It seems like this movie is going to try and have more fun with the story, which is a step in the right direction, but I still think its going to be complete crap. But lets see if they prove me wrong.
Italian horror film director Dario Piana (The Death of Ian Stone) will direct Lost Boys 3, from a script that was written by Evan Charnov.
If this movie does well it could jump start a new franchise as the further adventures of the Frog Brothers. What do you think?

I think I wish that Corey Haim could keep it together long enough to make this movie. I was so bitterly disappointed w/ Lost Boys 2, I could barely handle it. Was Haim REALLY in the closing credits? I'm not sure I made it that far. I think the whole thing is a wash, and what once had the potential to at least keep the campy fun going has been "lost" forever. That last one made Season of the Witch look like it had some continuity of story line, in comparison. It had the name of Lost Boys, but "I've" written several better sequels myself since '87(albeit in my head). I'll see it, just to see the "other" Frog Brother come out of hiding. Beyond that, it's a crap shoot. "Crap", being the operative word.
omg cory feldman was soooo awesome in lost boys 2!
and it did not suck beyond belief. it had normal suckage.
I actually liked LB2 even though I'll never watch it again. The original is still one of my favs of all time.
god should do something and let these movies stay in the 80s
