Well, this is some very sad news, a film icon has passed away today.

Patrick Swayze is dead at the age of 57 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, his publicist said Monday night. As you know back in January of 2008, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Swayze, has had an amazing career, starring in a ton of great films such as The Outsiders, Red Dawn, Dirty Dancing, Road House, Ghost, Point Break and several other films and TV shows. He also had a knack for driving the girls crazy. The actor’s health has declined since the diagnosis and during his filming of his A&E seriesĀ  The Beast, which aired last year.

He is survived by wife Lisa Niemi, whom he married in 1975. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

His legacy will live on through what has has done throughout his life and career.

At least now he can revise his role in Ghost.

Aside from those 2 fruity movies (Ghost, Dirty Dancing) he got famous for, I'll miss 'Darry' from the Outsiders the most, and 'Bodhi' from Point Break, and 'Dalton' from Roadhouse, and 'Jed' from Red Dawn. We all knew it was coming, but it's still a huge bummer. :(

To be honest I don't think he's dead, it's just a convincing performance.
