Paul Giamatti cast in Medieval Action Film IRONCLAD

Paul Giamatti has jumped on board a film project called Ironclad, a medieval-era action film in which he will play the tyrant King John.  That action drama pits a member of the formidable Knights Templar (Purefoy) and his “Magnificent Seven” cohorts who defend Rochester Castle against King John and his army in 13th century England.

The film will be directed by Jonathan English, and also stars James Purefoy who also stars in the upcoming film  Solomon Kane.

The movie sounds like it could be pretty good. I have a fascination with the Knights Templar and there history, so whenever I see see that they are implemented into a film or story my interest in it blows up. And who doesn’t love a medieval action film!?
