So Resident Evil: Afterlife (that’s #4) is still a year away from release and Sony Screen Gem’s is already talking about rebooting the franchise starring Milla Jovavich but without her on #5. Resident Evil 5 would start the story all over (without Jovavich) with a special military unit who fights an out of control super computer and many scientists turned mutant zombie/monsters after a laboratory accident. Sounds familiar doesn’t it. Is this too soon for a reboot? Come on greedy movie studios! Pay the lady to keep her on board! This is very fresh but has been confirmed by our friends over at Bloody-Disgusting!

No, no no no no. Milla has made this series, and rebooting this so soon seems like a stupid decision.
I think a reboot would be a good idea, but they should keep Milla on the roster.
As for the premise… they should really, really work from the games. Because as it is, the movies hold very little compared to the games.

They need to just stop with this franchise. It's clear these people have never played the games as the movies have hardly anything to do with the games.
this 'resident evil begins' just sounds like resident evil 1 (the movie) all over again, pretty stupid,
like @viralG said, they really need to work from the games, coz its gone from survival horror to sci-fi thriller, they need to get this one right or their gunna fuck the whole thing up or they should just stick with cgi animation.
umm k why the hell would you reboot it without milla she deff did make the series exciting and the plot is going to be the same just without her "lmao" im not holding my breath on this one i guess i will just wait for dvd mabe not even then cuz i know its gonna be retarted serioulsy !! a re-boat that sound super exciting…… NOT !
