I didn’t! I didn’t even see the first two films that how much I didn’t ask for a third Big Momma’s House film. Apparently good ol FOX is asking for a Big Momma’s House 3, and they’ve brought in Randi Mayem Singer to write the script. He most recently wrote a film called The Tooth Fairy and he also wrote Mrs. Doubtfire.
No plot details have been released for the third film, but does anyone really care? New Regency and David Friendly are attached to repeat their producing duties from the first two pics.
The original Big Momma’s House starred Martin Lawrence as an undercover agent and master of disguise. The first film made $174 million worldwide in 2000 while Big Momma’s House 2 pulled in another $138 million in 2006. So I guess they are looking for an easy $100 million dollar movie, which a third film will probably make, which is just crazy to me.
They don’t say if Martin Lawrence will return to reprise his role. I don’t see why not, he doesn’t have much else going on at the moment.

Afterwards I should have the right level of intelligence to appreciate any of these horrible, unnecessary and utterly repulsive excuses for film-making.
