Watch the First Episode of HBO’s BOARD TO DEATH

You can now watch the first episode of HBO’s new comedy series, Board to Death, which stars Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, and Zack Galifianakis. This show is pretty damn funny, I just got finished watching the episode and I am 100% sold on this new series. I love this kind of quirky subtle comedy, and the dialogue is great.

Schwartzman stars in the show as Jonathan Ames, an alcoholic noir-fiction-obsessed writer who impulsively decides to become an unlicensed private detective. The show also features Galifianakis from The Hangover plays Ames’ best friend Ray, a comic book writer, who along with Ames’ editor who is played by Ted Danson, winds up tagging along for a few detective cases. Seems like a great concept for a television show.

The series also features guest appearances from John Hodgman (Daily Show, Mac ads), Patton Oswalt, Kirsten Wiig, Parker Posey, Bebe Neuwirth, Oliver Platt, Olivia Thirlby, and Paul Feig from Freaks and Geeks, The Office and Arrested Development, directs a couple episodes.

Bored to Death premieres on HBO on September 20th at 9:30pm.

    Man, your web site might be able gain some credibility if you didn't make horrible, obvious spelling mistakes in every single post.

    I agree with ryan. I can't spell either but how hard it is to re-read before posting and use a spell checker of some kind? Your news is interesting but these errors make you look unprofessional.
