Writer and Director Confirmed for HALLOWEEN 3D

It doesn’t seem like many people are excited for the fact that there is going to be another Halloween movie is going to be made, and that it will be in 3D. But 3D horror films are making a lot of money so apparently they’re are people out there that are excited for it. It looks like bloody-disgusting received confirmation on who the new writer and director for the film will be.
Patrick Lussier has officially signed the dotted line to direct HALLOWEEN 3D for Dimension Films. He’ll be heading to Haddonfield with Todd Farmer, who will be penning the screenplay. The duo previously worked together on MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D for Lionsgate, making them perfect candidates to bring Michael Myers to theaters in 3D. Shooting is scheduled for this fall.
So how excited are you for Halloween 3D? Would you rather see these My Bloody Valentine guys make the movie? Would you rather have Rob Zombie back? Or do you just want them to scrap the movie altogether?

I am glad Zombie is not coming back. His first movie was great the first 45 mins, it was actually new territory but then it just turned into a pointless slasher. In some scenes it was a shot for shot remake of the '78 original. Then H2 was just hacking and slashing – no substance. Not too excited about another remake director but whatever
if brainwashing masks are involved with an epileptic commercial, I might think about it, otherwise, whats the point.
