Beyonce is Wonder Woman!? New Writer and Director Attached!?

I’m not sure if you’re going to like this. I hope it’s not true but according to comicbookmovie, Beyonce said at a recent press conference that one of her upcoming films that she is set to star in is Wonder Woman. The last that we heard, Joel Silver was taken off the project and it was dead after the Warner Bros. and DC shake up.
Apparently it’s not very dead, Beyonce offered more details about the production. She said she is going to meet up with the writers and directors in a couple months and that things will start to pick up by mid-2010 for a late 2011 release.
She then reveals who the writers and director of the movie are. Stuart Beatti and David Elliot have been brought on to write the film. Unfortunately, these are the same guys that wrote GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. I can’t believe they traded in a talent like Joss Whedon for these guys. She then said that John Moore would direct the film. Unfortunately, he’s the guy that directed Max Payne.
At this point I hope Beyonce really has no idea what she’s talking about. But she had the names and the details. I am treating this as a rumor until we receive confirmation. If this is all true, I’m not to excited about the project and the people involved. What do you think of all this Wonder Woman movie information?

Megan Fox IS Wonder Woman Period! The quicker she realize this the better off she’ll be.

QUIT YER BITCHIN this could be good, better than having over saturated megan fox who is now starting to have a huge backlash, granted they will have a lil extra story explaining to do( race does make a diff here since their greek) but maybe the plot will be that much better. besides beyonce is fun to look at…which is what we want in a wonder woman film.

I think she can act. She really made up for her horrible part in Austin Powers, and pulled through doing the part of Etta James in Cadillac Records. She was amazing in that!

I really don't know if Beyonce would fit Wonder Women, and NO it's not because she's black, that actually gives her more credit for trying, mind you! She has grown in her acting career! She did an amazing job as Etta James in Cadillac Records. When you take WW's personality, she's a total different character from all of the roles Beyonce has been. WW is more serious, and sorry to say a little boring, and i just think Beyonce has too much personality to play such a dull role.

Max Payne was horrible. G.I. Joe, I never saw, but heard was horrible. Don't do what Halle Berry did (Catwoman) and ruin your acting career. Just walk away or at least hold out for a better Director.
I have no problem with the casting, it's everything else that sucks.
Gina Torres would rock out loud as Wondy! Far better than any other name I've seen attached to the role.

you want to talk about race… how about getting a greek women to play a greek character. being a greek boy myself its hard to swallow listening to a scottish man play a greek king in one of our most prideful storys. almost as bad as watching sean connery play a russian u boat captain. now i have to hear WW say " dont worry sugga Wonder Woman is here" PASSS!
I just don't see Beyonce as Wonder Woman. It has nothing to do with her race but her skills as an actor. Though I didnt see her as Etta James, I have seen Dreamgirls, Obsessed, and Austin Powers and I just don't think she's a good actress.
I think that they should just go with an unknown actress

ur not going to get a greek person my friend sorry, they want mainstream connectivity with this film i.e. big name actress, im an average American movie goer and i cant think of many hot greek actress, will end up with a megan fox or oliva wilde or something , besides the look is more important in this particular movie than the racial accuracy
joss wanted cobie smulders from how i met your mother. she looks perfect for the role and she is a good actress. she looks exactly like wonder woman. joss should be brought back too . i hated gi joe with every fiber of my being. max payne looked so bad i didnt want to waste 2 hours of my life watching it.

wonder Woman is not. She is a character based in Greek Mythology. Not the history of the Moores.
they should actually try to get someone who looks the part.
Beyonce is a decent Actress, but she is in no way Wonder Woman.
