Dylan Baker Confirms his Return in SPIDER-MAN 4

If the name Dylan Baker doesn’t sound familiar to you, he is the guy that played Peter Parker’s professor, Dr. Curt Connors, at Empire State University. There has been a ton of speculation surrounding whether or not his character will(true to the comics) finally transform into one of Spider-Man’s classic villains, The Lizard. However, there is no confirmation if this rumor is true or not. I think it would be cool, but what does Sam Raimi think? Up to this point in the films, his character has only served as a background character and a solid nod to the fans.

There was recently a screening for Michael Dougherty’s Trick ‘r Treat, which Baker co-stars in as a killer of children. It was at this screening that he confirmed that he would indeed be returning as Connors for Spider-Man 4. Of course he didn’t go into any details about his role in the fourth installment, but it’s good to know he will be back.

Hopefully somewhere down the line he will become The Lizard. Only time will tell.

I've been waiting for The Lizard ever since Conners' first scene in Spidey 2. I really hope that happens. As for other villains, I'm not sure who they could get without looking too ridiculous. I've always wanted Scorpion as well, and Electro would be cool. But I think it's too early for Carnage
