Here is our first look at the SyFy Channels new TV series, The Phantom, based off of the classic comic book, which was adapted into a mediocre movie in 1996. It has now been adapted into a TV series set in the modern day. I’m not too sure about this show though. I need to see more, becaue I’m not sold on what I see in this trailer. The costume is kind of odd, and looks really uncomfortable.
Here is the description:
The legendary superhero returns in this modern-day and action packed miniseries event. When Kit Walker (Ryan Carnes) learns of his father’s death, the adventurous young man inherits the mantle of his superhero father. As the new Phantom, the 21st in the Walker line, Kit vows to uphold and honor his ancestors’ creed—to fight crime and injustice throughout the world.

i agree with you on the costume it looks a little lame if you ask me
How is going from a sleek costume design that actually looks like you can fight in, to that bulky looking "Punisher War zone" style thing, a step up?
I agree the suits not great. But I've always thought the old phantom suit sucked so I do think this is a step up
the main guy looks like a duche. over it.
is actually understandable why he don't want to use the old custom,but this new one?? where's the Phantom? where's the idea of the character himself?

i loved the first movie, it was the 30s, he had a cool coustume, and great M1A1 .45 1911 pistols.
