Hugh Jackman doing 11 more WOLVERINE Movies… and that’s it!

wolverine

Hugh Jackman did a little interview with CBS’s highly-paid/highly-adorable Katie Couric recently. Jackman reiterated his desire to do Wolverine’s Japan Saga, or “Sager” as Jackman said in his Australian accent, in the next installment of  X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

He joked:

I’ll do 11 more and that’s it!

But he must have a blast doing them. Even though he was joking, if he could, I bet he would do 11 more! And I’d probably watch all of them, because I love Wolverine and Jackman. He does say he’s waiting to see how the script turns out before agreeing to do it. But it didn’t seem like he took a look at the script for the first Wolverine Movie.

I hope the sequel can be a more faithful adaptation of the character, it sounds promising. Sounds…!

Check out the interview, and let us know what you think!

wolverines a boring character anyway and they've already insulted comic fans enough

  2. Betsy Braddock on October 7th, 09

They need to have Psylocke in this one

I wonder how many more Wolverine-related movies can they make before the character becomes too boring. Oops, that has already happened to me with X-men Origins. I don't mind if Wolverine shows up in cameos though… but IMHO there are many other Marvel heroes who are cooler than him. The Fantastic 4 would've been a good candidate for their own series/crossovers but the two movies they've had really f*ed it up.

i'm not gonna lie origins was a terrible movie. 'hey, let's pile as many mutants into this movie as possible, AND THEN, and then let's put them all into a single character. YEA goodfuckinidea'

only good part was when he was a lumberjack. there was some good story there.

If anybody needs a reboot, it's the Four. I'd like to see Universal do it, that way we can see a cameo from Tony Stark or something.

You only like the lumberjack part cause you think Hugh looks hot in plaid…you can admit it, we wont judge you.
