Michael Bay Announces New TRANSFORMERS 3 Release Date

Not too long ago we got word that Transformers 3 was going to be released in 2012. That is no longer the case. Michael Bay has announced on his blog that they are going to jump right back into the franchise and get the third movie out on July 1st 2011. As of today they have already started developing it. Here is what Bay says with an added nod to Megan Fox:
Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.
Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.

I thought Bay wanted to take a break from the Transformers and make a smaller film. Maybe he has already done that, and we just don’t know. Transformers made $709.7 million worldwide and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has made $832.4 million. So Transformers 3 is sure to make a billion dollars.
The Summer of 2011 is going to be a pretty awesome year for movies! We also can look forward to a bunch of Marvel films such as Spider-Man 4, Thor, and Captain America!
So who’s excited for Transformers 3? If it’s any bigger or action packed than the last one the whole movie will be a blur of “What the hell just happened!?”

Cannot say I am excited at all about this one. The first film was mediocre at best and the 2nd film was just a series of explosions and quick edits. I like Bay, but only when he does films like Bad Boys and The Rock – you know films in which the humor is not as juvenile and the plot is at least somewhat coherent
The comment I've made almost anywhere I go: No Mudflap of Skids. They ruined the whole movie for me. Otherwise I thought it was pretty good.
Some things that Bay could do is slow down the action slightly, and lengthen it out. Movies try to cram too much in nowadays and you can't follow all the movement. It's really unfortunate.
Venkman: A website and it's information should always be grammatically correct. In your first paragraph alone, i saw six errors in spelling, punctuation and sentence structure. Now don't go out and call grammar-nazi on me because that's not the case at all. a successful website and all of it's entries should ALWAYS be correct. When 'to' should be 'too', when 'announce' should be 'announced', and things of that nature. It is a huge distraction otherwise and I am losing faith in your reports. What good is the information if it is misspelled?
I could hardly be less excited about another Transformers sequel.
Then go to another site, you uptight yackass
lame-O!
Trash this crap franchise already.
Yes we all need to be perfect robot nazis and not make grammer mistakes, well guess what i have learning disabilties and dont always spell things right, so you could have been a little more polite in brining this up.
there is nothing more that i want to see than [art 3 the first 2 where kick ass can't wait to see this one
A "great" Transformers 3 story? Isn't that a bit of an oxymoron?
I LOVE MY LIFE
